Hello, my darlings!
Allow me to introduce myself...I am DarkLadyVampireMistress, Mistress and Lover of all Vampires. I have always loved vampires when I was a little girl, and every Halloween I go as one, because I was so sick of always going as a witch whenever I go trick-or-treating to get some nice Halloween candy. I love the night, especially in the summer when you can cool off from the unbearable heat. Sigh. Anyway, my little darlings, I have decided to do this blog because vlogging is so boring and I love to type out my words, especially it gives such a great way to practice my fast typing skills.
Oh, and since we're talking about vampires, let's talk about the new things about vampires that are in the entertainment section.
Vampire Diaries--The Awesome New Vamp Show on CW:
As everyone knows, the New York Times best-seller The Vampire Diaries from the 1990's has now become a popular TV show on the CW. I've seen three episodes of it and I am in love with the show, almost as much as I used to love Buffy the Vampire Slayer (sorry, Buffy, but you're so old now, but you're always in my heart). Although they changed every much of the book into the show (like they did with Gossip Girl, but it's now very popular now as much as the books), it's very interesting and shows of high school and love can really suck. The casts are wonderful, though different in the books, and I love them. I'm beginning to think everyone loves it too, because the reviews are saying that the show is better than Twilight! That's a shock! It's such such a shame that it's on Thursday, because I always want it be on Thursday and because it's on the same day and time when Bones, the fave shows, is on, and it's such a pain in the ass that I have to switch channel to channel when the commercials on. Sigh. Oh well...but also my darlings, don't miss next Thursday for the new episode...
The Twilight Saga: New Moon (coming soon on November 20th, in two months):
Ah, yes, the second installment of the Twilight Saga, New Moon, is about to release soon. As many have known by reading the books and seeing the description, in this second installment Bella Swan now faces the reality with her romantic vampire relationship with her gorgeous vampire boyfriend, Edward Cullen, and that is the sad part of all--Edward leaves her, breaking off their relationship, with his entire vampire family, leaving Bella to suffer alone and heartbroken. She suffers the past months in agony (poor girl...), but soon her spirit is starting heal by the hot werewolf, Jacob Black, as he gets buffier (can I say: Hello hunky werewolf!) and hotter, and soon there are some sparks in that relationship. And where there's sparks, there's also fire. But soon things get turned into a twist when werewolves are involved now in Bella's life and there are some old vampires that she remembers from Twilight that are not much happy to see and are hungry for her (aka her blood) and one of them is hungry for some revenge on her. Now when Edward thinks that Bella is dead, because of her jumping off the cliff stunt, he goes to Italy to the Volturri, the royal vampires who rule all of the sparkling vampires, to ask to die (*gasp*). Now Bella must rescue and ask herself of who her loyalty belongs to: the vampires that she has desired to become or the werewolves that she is close to since the vampires have left her...Boy, does Bella have a lot of problems...Well, we'll just have to see on November 20th, in the next month. I'll be ready to prep myself to make myself look vampy for the movie.
The Second Season of True Blood and the Awaiting Third Season:
True Blood is the popular Emmy-winning vampire show that sets on the small town of Louisiana. This show is popular is because it shows blood, language, gore, sexuality, and it gives us a thrill. I've seen it and I loved it, but then again, I love every vamp show. It's very popular and it always leaves us in a cliff hanger, like the season finale, when Bill is kidnapped by someone before Sookie has decided to marry him and be his new wife (awww!)...but who could it be? Eric? Sophie-Anne, Queen of the Louisiana Vampires? A vamp that will be on the third season? Bill's insane love-sick-obsessive maker, Lorena? So many questions to answer on the third season...or will it?
Enough of the Vampire Entertainment section, let's move on to the Vampire Literature section, my dears, shall we...?
TEMPTED--The Sixth House of Night Novel (coming soon on October 27th):
Tempted, the Sixth House of Night Novel, is coming soon on October 27th. The series is written by PC Cast and her daughter Kristin Cast. The series is based on Zoey Redbird, a young fledging vampyre who has been Marked to enter the House of Night, a private vampyre school. In this series, the vampyre are marked with a blue crescent on their forehead and must survive or they'll die (and it's not a pretty picture), but if they do, then they'll become adult vampyres. Female vamps have power while the men are protectors. But Zoey is in pretty much in a situation: her evil High Priestess, whom she had trusted and had been betrayed by her, has been banished along with her evil consort, Kalona, who wants Zoey because of her powers, and Zoey is now issuing with three boyfriends now (meaning Erik, Heath, and Stark), and Stevie Rae (Zoey's new BFF) is keeping something from Zoey that could be possibly related to the red fledgings, created by Neferet (what an evil bitch!). And it must be hard to be Zoey, since she is Chosen by the vampyre Goddess, Nyx, and will soon be the most powerful High Priestess that controls all five elements (earth, fire, water, air, and spirit)
Death's Mistress--the Dorina Barasab second novel written by Karen Chance, author of the Cassie Palmer series (coming soon on January 2010):
My dears, as a vampire book worm, I am suppose to read all kinds of books, and this book is for mature ages, and I'm sixteen-years-old (maybe). Also it's so awesome because it has want I like to read about: hot female kick-ass protagonists, hot sexy vampires, mages, and other mythical creatures. Sigh. It's any book that I would want to read. Anywa, I recommend of all you, my darlings, to read this book along with the Cassie Palmer series and the first book of the Dory Barasab series, Midnight's Daughter. Enjoy!
Now, my darlings, I must be off, shopping at Hot Topic, drinking red drinks that seem like blood, stay out of the sun too much so I can be pale more, and have fun in the night. I know that tomorrow is school, so enjoy the day while you can, because we'll go back to our homework and book session...
